After Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Saint George's Academy, located in the heart of the Ukrainian Village in New York, welcomed and supported Ukrainian teens forced to flee because of the war. According to the school's principal, Andrew Stasiv (photo 4), 80 Ukrainian displaced teens were enrolled in the school for the 2024-2025 school year.
